 | Researchers at Raytheon|Websense are urging businesses to be on their guard against a new wave of botnet activity, based on the ZeusVM Trojan, after tools that could be used to build and distribute the malware were released online for free earlier this year Carl Leonard, principal security analyst at Raytheon|Websense, said: "This situation is extremely likely to escalate - it is almost certain that threat actors are adopting this technology and that new threat actors may also enter the landscape. What impact this may have is unclear, but an indicator will be a rise in the detection of botnets using this toolkit." | ||
