 | The first 30 students of the UK Cyber Academy - SANS' 8-week, residential cyber security training programme - attended an employer recruitment fair in October to allow prospective employers to meet the Academy students ahead of their final graduation The students have all passed their GSEC examination - the first of three GIAC Certifications included in Cyber Academy, with the class achieving an average score of 91.2%, providing evidence of the excellent start they have made to their training. "The recruitment fair is the ideal opportunity for prospective employers to meet students and see their work," said Stephen Jones, UK managing director for SANS. Around 25,000 people took SANS' online Cyber Aptitude and Skills Assessment earlier this year. From that initial number, 250 candidates were selected and invited to formally apply for a place at Cyber Academy. | ||
