| New cyber security software is to be developed by researchers at Leeds Beckett University and the University of Birmingham, thanks to a £80,000 grant from the Higher Education Academy (HEA) Working with the Department for Culture, Media and Sports (DCMS), the HEA has distributed a total development fund grant of £500,000 across eight higher education projects to boost cyber security teaching and learning, making sure students have the skills to help protect the UK against cyber attacks.
