 | AppSense has released DataNow 4.0, the latest version of the company's secure file sync and migration solution Providing new features for end-to-end encryption, centralised configuration and the transparent sync of Microsoft Outlook PST files, DataNow 4.0 is said to simplify and secure endpoint sync operations with the granular control suited for Windows 10 migration projects. DataNow provides end users with intuitive file and data access from anywhere, ensuring data is securely retained and controlled by IT, without restricting user productivity or data access. "Organisations of all sizes are looking to embrace Windows 10, but desktop endpoints are typically full of unmanaged and decentralised file data that could be lost in a hardware refresh or operating system upgrade," said Jon Rolls, vice president of product management for AppSense. "Additionally, remote and travelling workers need reliable, offline access to on-premises file storage with complete desktop integration and no change in workflow or retraining.
