KYOCERA Document Solutions appoints Takahiro Sata as new President of Europe

Takahiro Sato, who has worked in various capacities across the Kyocera Group will take on the role of President, bringing a wealth of experience spanning 18 years. Sato succeeds Yoshiaki Onishi who has held the position for the last three years and who now returns to Japan to become General Manager of the Corporate Planning Department

Takahiro Sato joined Mita in March 1996, working in Export Sales before moving to Kyocera Mita Europe in January 2000 as manager of the CIS department focusing on Russia. During this time he successfully completed an Executive MBA at the Rotterdam School of Management and promotion followed to the position of Corporate Strategy Manager, Kyocera Mita France SAS and subsequently to General Manager. He directed his efforts to building a robust internal structure and distribution network that has resulted in growth and profitability. Sato’s proven track record was rewarded with an invitation to become an ‘Inamori Fellow’, a prestigious programme organised by the Inamori Foundation and open to only a very select group of the best business leaders.
