In a regular look at results and key business announcements for suppliers into the Networking and IT market, Network Computing summarises the Editors selections.

RESULTS AND M&A
IT consulting and managed services provider Ntegra has been ranked in the Sunday Times Hiscox Tech Track 100 league table. It ranks Britain's privately owned independent technology, media and telecoms (TMT) companies with the fastest-growing sales over three years. Ntegra achieved its placement by averaging sales growth of 79 per cent a year over the last three years of accounts.

Combined Tech Tracks totalled sales of £451m in 2010/11 growing to £2.6bn in 2013/14. Overall, on average Tech Tracks grew their workforce to almost 14,000, adding more than 10,000 jobs over the period, including some acquisitions.

Data security and identity and access management (IAM) solutions company Cryptzone has acquired, HiSoftware Inc. who provides governance, compliance and security solutions. HiSoftware's product portfolio offers a complementary set of solutions that will enhance Cryptzone's capabilities in securing critical data in the cloud, on mobile devices, and in customer data centres.

Offering a complete suite of context-aware access control, data security and compliance solutions for mobile, cloud-centric enterprise IT, Cryptzone will be headquartered in Boston, Massachusetts with European centre of excellence in engineering located in Gothenburg, Sweden, its birthplace.

Combined, the companies will have more than 700 customers' and HiSoftware's CEO, Kurt Mueffelmann, will be CEO of the combined entity.

MARKETS
Identity management firm OneLogin, has been rated first for innovation among Cloud First identity and access management (IAM) vendors in KuppingerCole's Leadership Compass Report on Cloud User and Access Management. They were also ranked among the product, market and overall leaders included in the report.

For companies requiring secure access to the cloud (Ed: who doesn't?), OneLogin seamlessly connects directory infrastructure to thousands of cloud applications using Active Directory, LDAP, Google Apps, Workday or OneLogin as the directory in the cloud. The solution has been certified to work with Microsoft Office 365, and the company was recently recognised by CRN as a 2014 emerging vendor.

GFI Software has undertaken a corporate restructure to help it evolve and support rapid growth across its portfolio. GFI will focus on private cloud solutions delivered to IT administrators in end-user organisations. LogicNow, which includes GFI MAX, IASO cloud back-up and other cloud-based products, will focus on SaaS technologies using a subscription model. While the companies will run as separate entities, the management teams of each business and investors that have driven the company's success to date remain unchanged.

Walter Scott, CEO of GFI and LogicNow said, "Separation will allow both companies to focus on their core markets and optimise their product strategies… Creating two focused businesses improves our operational effectiveness and enables us to maintain our industry-leading growth rates."

PARTNERSHIPS
AIM listed Pinnacle Technology Group plc has announced a strategic relationship with global network connectivity solutions specialist Easynet. Drawing on the strength, size and capacity of Easynet's carrier integration network and its engineering expertise, managed services provider Pinnacle can now offer enhanced secure connectivity solutions across multiple market segments.

The move will reduce structural complexity for Pinnacle with its operations and engineering teams set to consolidate business processes through a phased transformation and migration of its legacy network. It will culminate in a new high capacity, resilient access network, jointly operated with Easynet.

A new Board under CEO Nicholas Scallan is driving a turnaround of Pinnacle. Mike Ayres, Managing Director of Channel Partners at Easynet, said: "Pinnacle Technology has a clear strategy… to work closely with a small number of 'best of breed' vendors."
