| As confirmed by the recently published SPC Benchmark from the Storage Performance Council, Fujitsu's latest generation of hybrid dual controller midrange systems, the ETERNUS DX600 S3 series, have again achieved best-in-class benchmark performance (IOPS), price-performance ($/IOPS), and sub-millisecond response times The extended system lifetime of the ETERNUS DX600 S3 and reduced migration costs result from delivering a large headroom in areas where exponential data growth can be anticipated. IOPS performance directly influences the number of virtual machines that can be hosted on a storage system meaning ETERNUS DX can constantly increase VM density and so is an ideal storage consolidation platform for VMware or Hyper-V usage. Achieving this benchmark has demonstrated that the hybrid system minimises latency by running a large number of Solid-State Drives efficiently and without creating internal bottlenecks. | ||
