Computing Security Awards 2014 - the winners!

The 2014 Computing Security Awards culminated with an awards ceremony on October 9th. at the Hotel Russell in London’s Russell Square. The results were announced and the trophies presented by former England Cricketer Chris Cowdrey and Comedian Ian Irving.

The APT Solution of the Year was a new category introduced for 2014, with WatchGuard’s APT Blocker becoming the first winner of this award. Italian company, Libra Esva made its mark this year by becoming the new champion in the Anti Spam category. Another new name to this year’s awards, ZeroDayLab, put in a strong performance in winning the Fraud Prevention Award and becoming a runner-up in two other categories. There were many other first time winners too, including Cyberoam, who won the Editors Choice and Nettitude who were voted Security Service Provider of the Year. Ian Whiting of Titania proved to be a very popular winner of the |Personal Contribution to IT Award.
