Four new apps from IRIS

Belgian recognition specialist I.R.I.S has announced the release of four brand new OCR Apps on the App Store. Thanks to constant IT developments and with the emergence of powerful tablets and smartphones, says the company, scanning can happen in a variety of ways today. With the launch of its four new OCR apps I.R.I.S. supports all of them, no matter how, when and where you want to capture your documents, with no compromise in terms of OCR accuracy.

FROM MOBILE SCANNERS
The four IRIScan to iOS apps were designed to be easily connected to the company's latest Wi-Fi mobile scanners IRIScan Anywhere 3 Wifi and IRIScan Pro 3 Wifi, which are currently hitting worldwide retailers' shelves. Simply connect your iPhone or iPad to the scanner via Wi-Fi and you will be able to import any scanned document into the application with the push of a single button. This solution lets users benefit from IRIS' advanced scanning features right on their mobile iOS device.

FROM DIGITAL CAMERAS
If you are an ultra-light traveller, and find even a mobile scanner still too bulky, the IRIScan to iOS apps make it very easy to scan any document using the native camera of your iPhone or iPad. No matter where you are, you will always be one finger tap away from capturing precious information you gather in your everyday life. Anything from paper documents, magazine articles, pictures or even sticky notes will be captured, converted into editable documents by I.R.I.S. OCR technology and archived in the destination of your choice.
