Editorial Type: News     Date: 07-2014    Views: 2510

CONJECT, Europe’s leading provider of software supporting the full plan-build-operate lifecycle in the AEC industry, has been approved to supply SaaS (Software as a Service) solutions to UK Government via the G-Cloud 5 programme.

The G-Cloud initiative aims to increase adoption of cloud-based IT technologies across the public sector by encouraging procurement through the Cloudstore digital marketplace. The benefits for public sector clients using CONJECT SaaS for construction and real-estate project management include dramatically increased collaboration as users can access applications anytime, anywhere. In addition, the solutions are scalable and can be configured to meet the specific needs of individual public sector organisations, improving efficiency and public sector corporate governance.

For more than 10 years CONJECT SaaS applications have been used to deliver capital and infrastructure projects and programmes on time and within budget by a range of UK Government bodies, including: Hampshire County Council, West Sussex County Council, The Pirbright Institute, The Highland Council, Transport for Greater Manchester and The Royal Berkshire Foundation Trust.

CONJECT managing director Steve Cooper said, “The availability of CONJECT Project Control and NEC3 - licensed contract management solutions on G-Cloud will further simplify the selection of collaboration software for Government customers. We have over a decade of experience within the business of helping public sector organisations to deliver AEC projects using our configurable SaaS applications.” He concluded, “The G-Cloud initiative is a big step forward for increasing access for all types and sizes of government bodies to best-in-class software solutions.”
