Dell SecureWorks' Counter Threat Unit (CTU) researchers have discovered malware that allows hackers to authenticate as any corporate user within an organisation, giving the threat actors unfettered access to a target organisation's computer systems
Essentially, the malware accomplishes this by bypassing authentication on Active Directory (AD) systems. Threat actors can use a password of their choosing to authenticate as any corporate user.
