Storetec to provide DM services to the Eastern Shires Purchasing Organisation

Storetec has been selected to provide Document Management services to the Eastern Shires Purchasing Organisation (ESPO). The new framework offers Document Scanning and Document Storage and is available to all Public Sector organisations across the UK.

ESPO is one of the largest Public Sector buying organisations in the UK. Established in 1981 to provide comprehensive procurement services to the public sector, ESPO has the purchasing power to achieve savings to pass on to its customers. ESPO’s annual procurement activities are more than £1 Billion.

David Wilkinson, Sales Director of Storetec, said, “We are proud and delighted that ESPO has chosen to engage Storetec for this prestigious framework agreement. The growth we have seen over the last few years in the Public Sector adopting paper reduction or paper-lite strategies continues to increase. Being selected by ESPO means that we are able to deliver the benefits of electronic working to a wider Public Sector audience.”

The framework agreement commenced on the 7th February 2015 and will run until the end of December 2016. It covers a number of areas from mainstream Document Scanning to Large Format Scanning, Microfilm Scanning, Microfiche Scanning, Photograph Scanning and Document Storage services.

David continued, “We know that the NHS has a paperless directive from Health Secretary, Jeremy Hunt, and that the wider Public Sector is under huge pressure to reduce costs and increase efficiencies. The concept of ‘do more with less’ only works if service partners to the Public Sector are innovative and add real value. I believe that Storetec does, which is why our ESPO framework status is important.”
