Causeway eTrading and Supplier Management solutions meet G-Cloud 6 requirements

Editorial Type: News     Date: 04-2015    Views: 2552

Causeway’s Tradex eTrading and MyRegister supplier accreditation hosted software solutions are now included in the Crown Commercial Service’s G-Cloud 6 framework. The G-Cloud framework provides a general term for agreements with suppliers and sets out terms and conditions under which purchases can be made.

Causeway’s Tradex eTrading solution enables supply chain partners to electronically send and receive trading documents such as invoices, requisitions and purchase orders. Once connected, companies can trade electronically through a scalable and flexible integration hub that supports multiple document types and user services.

Causeway’s MyRegister is an online supply chain management software system for managing suppliers and sub-contractors in the construction industry. As such, it improves the efficiency of vendor management and PQQ management while reducing the risk associated with accrediting and managing suppliers.

TheG-Cloud agreement covering these Software as a Service (SaaS) solutions supports the Government’s policy to centrally manage the procurement of common goods and services through an integrated commercial function at the heart of government. The agreement can be used by organisations across the UK public sector for the procurement of such SaaS solutions.

Through the G-Cloud framework, the Crown Commercial Service brings together policy, advice and direct buying; providing commercial services to the public sector and saving money for the taxpayer.
