New Kofax framework powers the capture and submission of Proof of Identity documents Kofax has announced Mobile ID, a mobile capture framework that powers the capture and submittal of proof of identity documents. Mobile ID lets an organisation’s customers submit proof of their identity as part of an account opening or other process by simply taking a picture of their driver license, passport or national identity card using their smartphone or other mobile device. Mobile ID then extracts and validates the business critical content and submits it to Kofax TotalAgility, the Company’s flagship smart process application development and deployment platform, or the organisation’s other enterprise applications for further processing. This enhances the customer experience, speeds processing and reduces costs. Kofax Mobile ID extracts and validates the business critical content from all 50 U.S. state and most international driver licenses, passports and national identity cards. "As customers demand to interact with businesses through their mobile devices, companies must respond by creating mobile applications or mobile Web experiences that reduce customer friction at the start of the relationship.
