The Storage Awards 2009

Now in its SIXTH year, the Storage Awards is where once again the readers of Storage magazine rewarded the outstanding products, services and people for which our industry has become a byword.

The 2009 Awards saw, in excess of 6000 readers vote (22,000+ votes cast in total) for their favourite products, people and companies.

The past SIX years has seen many changes through new technology, innovation, regulation and especially acquisition, with all that in mind, the Storage Awards reflects these changes through its categories.
Over the last six months readers of Storage Magazine - The UKs number one IT storage magazine have been voting for their favourites - All nominations and votes were cast online.

The evening started with our usual champagne reception, which really did set the tone for the whole evening! Old friends mingled with new, in what has become the storage industry's premier networking event. This prestigious black tie dinner featured categories in the best in Hardware, Software, Solutions, Architecture, Personnel and Company.

The biggest winners of this years event were NCE who won three awards, Nexsan and CommVault with two and EMC scooping the coveted Company of the year award.
