A Towering Success

Now in its 3rd year, the Construction Computing Awards 2008 were regarded by everyone that took part as the best yet.

The foundations for a great evening were layed by some fantastic sponsors, Canon, Causeway and Exitech, without whom the evening would not of been possible. Our thanks go to them for all their support and advice.

The evening started with a Champagne reception which allowed everyone to catch up with old friends and start to make new ones. We even managed to re-unite 2 ex colleagues who had lost touch and not seen each other for 5 years!!

Following a superb 3 course dinner, we were entertained by Patrick Monahan, who in a very funny and hugely entertaining set managed to discuss everything from the joys of shopping at “Netto” through to “orange people”, stopping briefly to discuss Brokeback Mountain”.

Noticeable winners included Bentley, winners of the Prestigious Company of the Year award, Causeway, who walked away with 2 awards including Product of the Year, and Knowledge OnLine who picked up the Editors Choice award.
